East Somerset Railway - Mendip Steam Dream - September 2005

The East Somerset Railway "Mendip Steam Dream" Gala held over the weekend 17th to 18th September 2005 saw 30075 in action hauling both passenger and demonstration freight trains. "Taffy Tank" loco 5637 assisted by Andrew Barclay 0-4-0T 705 as Station Pilot were busy on the main running line whilst Andrew Barclay 0-4-0T "Lord Fisher" proved as ever popular offering the "Driver for a Fiver" footplate experience runs in the shunt area at Cranmore West.

5637 leads a freight train through Cranmore West.....

.....whilst 30075 proves vital banking the heavy train

....then on the Cranmore Station

705 moves the freight stock off to the sidings at Cranmore

And then 705 assembles the next freight set

30075 approaches Cranmore for the next duty
