Project 62 AGM - Corfe Castle - 29th April 2007

This year saw pretty much a record turn-out for the 2007 AGM, with members having to stand in the hallway by the class room at Corfe Castle Station, as the meeting room was full to capacity. The main business of the AGM related to Constitutional amendments to reflect the acquisition of 62-521 and its formal and unanimous adoption into Project 62.

The meeting also expressed its confidence in the current management by re-electing the existing committee as a group, the financial report was accepted unanimously and those assembled listened with great interest to reports regarding the ongoing operation and maintenance of 30075 at Cranmore and 62-521, hopefully before long to become new USA Class "30076", which is currently at Ropley on the Mid-Hants Railway.

Project 62 would like to thank the Swanage Railway for the hospitality and footplate rides once again extended to our group. The "AGM Special" after was well patronised with a Sunday Lunch buffet and drinks served by the Committee.

Some pictures below show members present on the day enjoying two round trips over lunch, as the "AGM Special" ran through the beautiful Purbeck countryside.
